5 Days Migration Safari
Tour Info: The best time to see the migration is usually between June and August when the wildebeest congregate and prepare to cross the famous Grumeti River.
Day 1: Arrival- Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi after your mountain expedition where you will be met and transferred to your overnight city deluxe hotel on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi passing through The Great African Rift Valley and Narok Town. Arrive in time for lunch at your preferred lodge to include leisure. An afternoon game drive will follow to explore the Savannah in search of game. The focus on this day is on the Masai people and the fabulous wealth of wildlife, birdlife, and natural flora to be found in the fabled Masai Mara Game Reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge.
Day 3 and 4 : Masai Mara
Two full days are spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in search of the wilderbeest migration spectacle, which coincides with the Kilimanjaro climbing peak season. It is estimated that 1.5 million wildebeest and 300,000 zebra move to find food throughout the vast 6,300 sq.mile Serengeti ecosystem, which includes Kenya's Masai Mara. All meals at lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Early morning game viewing. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination where the tour ends.
Naro Moru is the most popular and fastest route to point Lenana although not the most scenic. Traverse though the notoriously treacherous vertical bog and into the wide Teleki Valley beneath the Tryndall, The Lewis Glacier.
Arrival day in Tanzania: Kilimanjaro to Moshi 45Km (27 miles) 50 Min drive. You will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Moshi where you will be taken directly to your hotel.
